's znet has wrong parts info which will cost customer alot of money to find out

I bought a New alternator from autozone which didn't put out 12 volts. I took it back and they checked it and said it worked correctly. I put it back on the car and they hooked up thier test machine to my car and said I had a wiring problem. I then took my car to Ford. When I told the service writer it was not charging and it had new alternator. The first thing he asked me you didn't get it at autozone did you. Then he told me there were three or four models that thier alternators won't work on.

That trip to Ford cost me over $500 buck to find out they sold me the wrong part. I went back to autozone and curtis the manager would not talk about it. I have emailed mark hopkins at autozone two times with no reply. I was not tring to get any money out of them I just wanted them to correct the peoblem. It's not the first time it happened if Ford knows all the models they sell the wrong alternators for. Ford said the alternators are wired wrong.
