Had a problem with my mazda pick up. I brought it to a service station and they were unable to figure out what was wrong. They told me honestly that they didnt know what was wrong. They didn t charge me one cent.
So i found another place that assured me that they could fix the problem "No problem! Bring it by". Well, after about 2 1/2 weeks and a new fuel pump still no truck.
Finally i get a call and he tells me my truck is all set. I go down to the station to pick it up, pay $750 truck dies on my way out of the parking lot. He takes it back into the lot and assures me that he ll find the problem.
2 weeks later no truck. Granted it s an old truck and parts are hard to find. He tells me he has searched every where for the part that is needed. He tells me maybe i should try to find the part. Which i did in about 10 minutes on the phone.
Finally, after such a long time with out a vehicle, i got fed up with him and a spoke with yet another service station. I went down to the station and told him that i was bringing the truck else where. Asked how this could be settled and if i could have a least some of my money back. He told me that he wouldn t charge me any more but i couldn t have any refund because he had put too much time into the truck.
So, 5 weeks without my truck, $750 later, 3rd mechanic, still no truck. Ripped off and not very happy.
