False advertisement about their business

Hello, I made an appointment to get my brakes done on Monday 11/24/08 by Just Brakes. The appointment was for Tuesday 11/25/08 at 3:00 pm. I spoke with a white male name Curtis. Curtis verified all my personal information along with the vehicle's information. The year, make, and model. My vehicle is a 2007 Dodge Charger SXT.

When I arrived to Just Brakes a white male employee walked into the lobby area of the business and asked was I Howard, and I stated "yes, you must be Curtis". The white male identified himself as Curtis along with the name that was visible on his shirt. Curtis then reached over and grabbed a work order that was placed on a clipboard hanging on the wall. Curtis asked me the vehicle information again as I saw it written on the work order already. I then confirmed my information about my vehicle with Curtis once again. Curtis then looked in a parts book stating he didn't have the pads for my vehicle in stock and he would have to order them, and I would now have to pay a non stock fee for the pads. The brake job for the entire vehicle was only suppose to be $99.98. I then go very upset because he stated he would have to order the pads when I set up an appointment to get brakes repaired the day before. Curtis then told me that I would now have to pay $109.00 dollars for the front pads and $89 dollars for the rear pads, and the $99.98 for the completation of the job. Now that really got me upset because they advertise a brake job on vehicles for $99.98 and now they were trying to get me to pay over $300 dollars including taxes for a brake job that should have only been $99.98.

The reason why I am filing this complaint is false advertisement. The company get you in on that $99.98 advertisement and hit you up for the non stock fee for the pads that would raise the price on the brake repair. I drove an hour to get my brake repaired on a bogus advertisement. I spoke with a Manager for that particular Just Brakes and he informed me that they didn't store all brakes pads for every vehicle. I told Mr. Marshall I understood that but Curtis knew the day before I was bringing my vehicle in for brake repair because I set up an appointment with him to do so. Due me setting up an appointment the pads should have been ordered that day for my vehicle. Not the day I arrive to say, "oh we don't have your pads we would have to order them". Of course Mr. Marshall danced around my complaint with him. Please look into that false advertisement because the advertisement is only to get people drawn in for a great disappointment, thank you.
