This warranty company is a complete scam. I just read another report that is identical to my story.
I bought a new car in April. The warranty was automatically attached to my paperwork. I requested to have it deleted and that I did not want the warranty. The car salesman talked me into it, reminding me how expensive it is too repair certain things on my vehicle and that if I did not use the warranty at the end of my 5 year loan, that all of my money would be totally refunded.
At the end of my loan, I submitted my paperwork and recieved a letter claiming that my refund had been approved and is being processed. Also stated that I should recieve my refund in 6-8 weeks. This letter was dated May 2nd and I have yet to see it.
I have called several times and was told that they acknowledge that I am to recieve a check... But that they had no contact information on who should be releasing my funds and writing the check. This is absolutely criminal and is a shame that they will most likely get away with all those who have been mislead!
