Well this is what is going on with my father, He co-signed for my half-sister for a new car like 2 years ago with triad... She missed payment after payment so my half-brother took over the car and caught up with the payments. Soon he started doing the same thing.
My father of course wanted to find out were the car was so he could get it and catch up on the payments himself. But triad kept telling him they did not have the information... And that they could find out the information if he payed $860... Then another person told him $1000 was the needed payment... And now the car has been taken already and being held.
They told him he only has to pay $1600 to get it out, But when he called the compound were the car is being held... They told him he has to make the full $19,600 payment to get the car back. So now were stuck with them most likely auctioning off the car and having them Deduct pay from his work check.
My Father would like to know if there is any class action lawsuit against Triad here in California or near Nevada (were the car is most likely being held). Any information would be helpful. Also this if my first time using this website so any mistakes my apologies in advance (if I did not fill it in the right way)
