In November I co-signed on a vehicle with my father.in January my father was diagnosed with pancrea cancer and died June.
My father was the one making the payments on the vehicle because I had my own vehicle. After my father died Made three payments but could no longer make payments because I have my own car note.
I took the van back to the dealership and explained to them that I am a single parent who can not afford to make two vehicle payments. I contacted Triad to let them know of the situation also.
They harassed me to no end, calling my job, my cellphone number and my sister home number. They said they will have me arrested and convicted.
They even came out to my house looking for the van and I told them it was taken back to the dealership. I finally faxed this information and the calls stopped. The calls started back up again in 2006.
I sent a e-mail to Triad stating that it was against the law to for creditors to harass on the job. I also, stated to them, that some hippo privacy act laws has been violated and some laws have been broken on behalf of collecting a debt.
I got a quick response stating that the calls would stop and if I need further assistance do not hesitate to call. I am not getting ready to pay for a vehicle I don't have!!! I will like to join any class action suit, media or government exposure to Triad!
They are rude, unprofessional and a disgrace to the American Business.
