Scott's Collision Revision Rip-off negligence while repairing my vehicle

May 5th I was involved in a car accident that did a substantial amount of damage. The Repairs where to be handled by Scotts collision revision, which happens to be highly recommended to me from a friend and a preferred vendor of the insurance company in which my car was insured. Now mind you the car was in the shop from March 6th through June 3rd.

I was given a lifetime warrantee on all repairs done to my car relating to this accident. Sound like a great deal, turns out its a joke. Not two days after my car was returned to me the check engine light was on and my car was getting horrible gas mileage (9mpg compared to 22mpg). I took the car to the dealer where I purchased the car from less then a year prior and the kept it for two days finally finding an accelerator bracket that was bent in the collision that was over looked. This was no big deal being that the dealer did not charge me and only had to bend it back into place.

The only reason I did not complain then was the deal could not tell the car had had the whole front end of the car replaced it look like a new car. Which I thought was great.

About a month went by with my tires squeaking when I turned the car and I started noticing that the tires were wearing on the outer edges. The car at the time had 27000 miles on it so I figured maybe its time to get new tires before winter. So I did, less then 6 thousand miles later they were bald again.

Naturally I figured it was an alignment issue and when I went to get my second set of tires on in three months and 5 thousand miles I had the tire shop align the car. Only to be told that the car was unable to be aligned, and that the frame was possibly bent or off center. So

I immediately took it back to Scotts to have the car checked out and to have them fix a problem that related to the accident that they guaranteed. They had the car for four days, replaced so carriage bolts and aligned the car.

When I got it back I noticed that the car was making a weird noise when I turned the car left like it was rubbing something on the tire. I also noticed about a month later that the car started to drift again. It was December and the holidays where coming so when I couldnt afford to be without a car during a busy season

I decided I would deal with it after the holidays. I contacted my insurance company and asked for advice they called Scotts and were told there was nothing wrong with the car and that the wear on the tires was from reckless driving. The frame was straight and there was nothing they could do for me. Which is not what there guarantee says.

So after I decided to go to a different body shop the shop has concluded that the strut in the driver side of the vehicle was never replaced and the frame was bent a little bit. So they would have to replace a strut, a knuckle and do a frame pull. Assuming everything went well and they didnt have any problems with the body panels being out of place. This is another 1100.00 dollars 130.00 of which I have to pay.

I have paid 600.00 dollars in the last six months on tires and alignments. And the original accident was estimated out around 12000.00 dollars. I think this is a classic case of negligence of Scotts Collision Revision.
