Gwinnett place chevy this business set my car ablaze with me inside of it in the attempt to repair a cd player

I took my car into this dealership to have a CD player repaired. After the third attempt of repairing the CD player. I was driving the vehicle to work when I noticed an orange glow coming from the speaker area of the driver side door, near my ankle.

Suddenly there were flames coming from the same area (the driver side door), the fire department was called and put the fire out. They said it was an electrical malfunction. Fortunately I was not hurt or burned in the incident, however the dealership has yet to take responsibility for the fire.

Once I made it out of the vehicle the doors locked, the trunk popped open and the alarm started going off. I could have been trapped in that burning car.

I have receipts that state they did electrical work on the stereo/cd player at a minimum of 24 hrs before the fire started. They have not tried to assist me in any manner. I have lost time off work due to lack of transportation, I have had to pay insurance deductibles and rental car fees after my insurance reached the maximum amount on the rental car fees.

But this fire was no fault of mine and I have been out of pocket for unnecessary deductibles and fees. The dealership service manager told me, that is why "we" pay the high insurance premiums. If they had not started the fire, I would not be paying a deductible or rental car fees. Regardless as to why we pay insurance premiums.

I guess if the fire department would have found my burnt body on the side of the deserted roadway in my chevy malibu, the service manager would have had the same answer for my family.

I have met with nothing but resistance when trying to talk with the dealership or GM or the corporate owners. One would think I started this fire myself as I was driving down the street.

The insurance company was eager to pay for my damages, however they did not investigate nor request reimbursement from the dealership.

And this all began on July 17 and I received my car back from repairs on September 27. And the car is still not 100%, it lost power steering and the light continues to come on saying power steering.

And so on and on goes this never ending saga... Maybe this will bring about a resolution.
