On 9/13/08, i took my 90 mazda to this garage for repair. On 9/19/08, one of the service techs called me and said the vehicle was ready. He sais they had re-arranged all the vacuum lines on the motor to fix the problem. The vehicle now runs terrible. I called to discuss the problem with the owner and was told that he was on vacation.
On 9/30/08, i went back to the garage to see the owner and discuss the problem. He went into a mad rage, threatened me and said he couldnt believe i was even complaining about the vehicle. I asked for the money charged for the poor work and i thought i was going to be attacked. I called american express to dispute the charge, but dont expect to get credit since amex always takes the merchants side and says it is a civil dispute.
I have noticed a dramatic increase in labor charges over the last 3 repairs that i have taken to the shop. There is never a reason for a business owner to say abusive things in the presence of other customers and threaten me because he may be having a bad day. I only wanted to get what i had already paid for. This owner needs to have his license revoked for poor service and bad behavior to the customers.
