I called Mr. Tire on Sept. 8, to see if they could replace a flat tire. They said that they would have the tire by the next day. We took the car to the shop, but they could not get the old tire off of the rim. We were told to leave it and it would be taken to another shop with the right equipment.
When we returned the next day to pick the car up we were told that the rim was cracked. There is no way you can drive on a cracked rim and we had driven the car to the shop. When we asked if they would replace it, they denied being responsible. They never sent it to another shop at all, but forced the tire off and split the rim in the process.
When we insisted that they replace the rim they ordered us to leave the premises with our three-wheeled car. We had to have a tow truck to move the car off the premises. The manager yelled and screamed at us the whole time. I have never been treated in such a manner in any business. He offered no solution, but showed us the door. It cost us over $1000.00 to replace the rim and tire.
