Trying to charge fees after i stop insuance on the day it expires Calos Angles

Framers in co. Called mid century the co. Sent bills for ins after i stop on the day of experation of policie. I ask for infor on what i was charge for and they sent it to collections. My ins was over and i do not owe them any money an d i can't get any info on why i am being charge more.
