QwikWash America
Malicious & insensible deception on top of poor service

On November 09, I patronized QwikWash America for the first time; they had been open for a while and being a loyal Frisco resident and consumer, I was more than willing to spend some money here. As I proceeded through the entrance of the "glorified drive-thru" car wash tunnel, I was watching this guy in my rearview mirror scrub the back of my vehicle with a scrub brush.

At the time, I was thinking he was going to scratch the paint. The next thing I heard was a bang and this gentleman, who was holding the scrub brush, proceeded to look and touch the top portion of the rear window of my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. I knew then something was wrong but could not get out of my car due to the automatic wheels which had already began to guide my car through the tunnel.

As I came out of the tunnel and drove around to have the car hand dried, that same gentleman was waiting for me. He stated, that he was looking for me and went to the rear of my car to where the rear-windshield washer nozzle is located; I could heard him snapping it into place. He came back around to the drivers side and stated that he wanted to make sure that my car came out clean since it was a black car; he then made small talk for about three minutes then told me to pull up to Lane 4 and they would take care of me and proceeded to walk away.

After pulling into Lane 4, I got out to inspect what he was so curious about. I discovered what the bang was; when this gentleman was washing my car with the scrub brush, he hit the rear-windshield washer nozzle with the brush and broke one of the clips that keeps the rear-windshield washer nozzle secured to the vehicle.

I went up to the gentleman and asked him about it and stated that "he didnt do itit was already done". I told the gentleman that I saw him hit the nozzle with the brush then we walked over to my vehicle to look at the problem.

This is when Mr. Entis approached us and stated that he "would take care of it". He stated, "that all he had to do was to order the part... It was no big deal." I then informed him, as he carefully took down my contact information, that what had upset me the most was the gentlemans blatant denial of the whole incident. Mr. Entis then informed me that the gentleman I was speaking to was the owner of QwikWash America.

Mr. Entis told me it would take a couple of days and that he would call me on that following Monday, November 11th to update me and to let me know when he would have the part. Having not received the promised call on November 11th nor any type of contact, I sent Mr. Entis a letter, dated December 04, requesting reimbursement of $37.14, the cost of repair for the rear-windshield washer nozzle and asked for a response to my request; I enclosed a copy of the repair receipt from my dealership.

Again, not one person from QwikWash America contacted me, which resulted in me sending Mr. Entis an email, dated December 30, asking once again for a response.

As of today, exactly two months since the incident, I have not had any response as to the request for the repair reimbursement of the rear-windshield washer nozzle for my vehicle.

I was not asking for the $25.00, the cost of the "glorified drive-thru" carwash; I was asking for the reimbursement for the repair to which QwikWash America was responsible and I included a copy of the repair receipt for QwikWash America's records.

I will never patronize QwikWash America again, and my hope is that consumers will read this and be better informed when making their choice of where to spend their discretionary income.
