5 Corners RV False damage charges with no invoice or proof of repair costs consumer rip-off fraud...
This is a case of the retailer not refunding a deposit, and placing additional charges on my card without providing me with sufficient documentation explaining the charges.
I have asked Five Corners RV to provide me with an invoice for the charges they made to my card for damages done to a rental RV, which they have not provided. All I have is an invoice with a single line item for $675.00 on it, which I told them is not sufficient, and would never be acceptable in any repair circumstance were it my vehicle or anyone else's.
The damaged part itself retails for approximately $200, so I wanted more clarification on the $475 worth of overhead on this invoice. To this day I have not received this detailed invoice, and therefore I deduce that I've been scammed. If there was nothing to hide, I should've gotten an invoice from them.
All attempts to get this information in exchange for my $675 has been fruitless. If you aren't comfortable with handing Five Corners RV your credit card and allowing them to charge you whatever they want, then do not rent here. I would also question the integrity of this business based on this experience.
