I purchased a 150cc Sunflower Scooter in July assembled it and used it for about 2 weeks before I had to replace the battery. The battery I bought worked fine, but the drive belt went out after 500 miles and luckily close to home. I replaced the drive belt with the spare I bought from the company as well as the headlight bulbs (they kept blowing out every month or two). I sold the scooter and upgraded to a 260cc scooter in July.
I called Winston many times and he was helpful on the phone, but did not stand by his product and charged me for parts that should of been covered under the warranty. He gave me a deal on a 260cc scooter, but the paperwork was not correct and did not match the scooter serial number. They sent me a new document and promised to replace the radio that came on the scooter with a new one. The scooter was advertised with a radio/cd player but came with a crappy radio and cable to attach my own MP3 player. I waited for a year and never got the replacement radio, only told it was on order each time I called. Now it appears the company is no longer in business.
The 260cc scooter drives well, but I feel cheated as it was not as advertised in terms of the radio. The rear lock box hinge broke after 2 weeks of use, I had to replace the battery after 2 weeks again as the battery they send is no good.
All in all I was fairly happy with the scooter, disappointed with service, and angry that they never fulfilled their agreement to replace the radio. I also ended up paying more for the scooter than advertised. I didn't agree to the higher price, but they said that shipping was higher and I got a 260cc instead of the 250cc I ordered. The documents say nothing about a 260cc engine, only 250cc. It also came with a Roketa registration card, but the scooter is suppose to be a Ymoto?
