I bought a 06 acura tl swith customization online from a dealer (one stop motors) in ohio with the factory warranty still intact. (4 year 50k miles) when i bought the car it had 16,800 miles. Tis was on may 9th fast forward to mid july i was driving home after spending time with friends and i wnet to shift when the car wouldn't shift. I parked the car and called acura which brought it to Acura of Ocean. They held my car for what felt like an eternitiy then told me the warranty company wouldn't do anything for me since the "CLAIM" signs of abuse. Joe the Service rep called and told me it would be $4900 for a new trans installed. When i asked to see the so called signs of abuse from the reported abuse they "CONVIENENTLY" offered to open the trans up to "CHECK" to see if it may be a bent fork or something else. 5 days later i sent over lunch to them in appreciation thinking they would actually do the right thing. But no it comes back 7 grand this time. This is outrageous. I picked the car up and had it brought to fairifeld it is unaccpetable that acura and rich redikers make claims to the effect of abuse but then have no proof of abuse mark files and void warranties fo no reason.
