This Co. Was started by two guys with money and the greed for more, and two experienced auto transport drivers. The drivers one with 19 yrs experience and the other with 8 years experience were promised great salaries and 1/3rd ownership in the Co., but were fired after the Co got rolling. Secured Auto Transport also known as S A T Logistics is owned by Joe Cusamano (AKA Sonny Mosca) and Tim Klein neither has any experience in the trucking industry much less auto relocation. They both deal in realestate. Joe owns rental properties and Tim is lic broker. They have a web site, which was copied from a Calif based auto transport Co, that explains not to use a broker (middleman) call them direct to use thier fleet of trucks - they have 1- 8 year old Freightliner.
They talk of modern tracking devices to track your cars location - its a cell phone. They call the driver a few times a day to get thier location. The web site states Fortune 500 Co's, Corp Relocation Firms, New car dealers, Major Airline Co's, and the Military have all trusted Secured Auto Transport - 99.9% of the vehicles moved the owners never knew ahead of time who the transport Co would be, because the vehicle owners used a broker and the broker doesn't know what truck the vehicle will be on at the time of booking.
Joe himself is trying or may well be by now a broker. It is a very very profitable bussiness. If you book a car on his web site, it may not be transported on his truck - remember he only has one truck. He will list the vehicle on "Central Dispatch", a website exclusive for auto transport companies. Oh "FAMILY OWNED" - no Joe and Tim are not related, but they do spend alot of time in one of Joes bedrooms, thats thier office. All those links to different Companies they, proberly do not know who Secured Auto Transport is. Tim is VERY good on the computer, he got in to many websites taken a piece of info from this one and that one. Tim explained how he got those links but I didn't understand. I don't know to much about computers, you may have guessed I'm one of the drivers that started this Co. There are very good broker companies and trucking companies out there, just ask questions. Many brokers have great trucking companies they deal with exlusively. Just do your homework as you would do on any big investment.
