I bought a used 2008 Chevy Malibu from this place and in less than three weeks after the purchased I noticed the brakes were squeaking. I took the car in for repairs actually that was no problem. After a 3 and a half hour wait I discovered that the paint on my drivers side door was chipped. I was told to bring the car in the following Monday and that they would be able to fix it. I dropped my car off Sunday night and this is where my nightmare began. I had asked for a second keyless remote to be programmed as well as the chipped paint. I clearly explained to them that the damaged occured while they were doing repairs. The technician notated this in the computer as lot damage. Needless to say, I recieved a call Monday afternoon that my car was ready and that my remote was programmed, when I asked about the chipped paint I got a confusing response that they thought the used car dept. Was going to repair it. Anyways, I restated that the damage was cause in the service department and I was assured that they would fix it at no charge. So I was told it would have to be approved and someone would call me back. To my dismay I was told it would not be finished that day (Monday) because the approval came to late in the day. So I was told it would be finished the following day (Tuesday) So on Tuesday, I was given the run around again when I called that afternoon, bacause I was told that they (the bodyshop) had just recieved the paperwork just late afternoon. As I am writing this it is Wed. Morning (I plan to call them) to find out whether my car will be finished today. The reason why I am writing this complaint is because this whole incident could of been handled in a better manner. I plan to seek a different location to take my car for servicing. It is kind of sad that this was my first time taking my vehicle to this facility and this happened. I just want to also let other people know about my awful experience.
