Damaged my vehicle while "repairing" hail damage. Geico did not "fight: for me to make it right

I purchased my 2003 vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet. It was a 2003 SUV, in excellent condition.

A few days later, there was a hail storm in the area, and my SUV had extensive hood and side damage. I contacted Geico to advise them of the situation and they sent me to a "disaster center" to get an estimate of the damage.

They estimated it to be $1500 and would only allow paintless dent repair.

I decided to take it back to Friendly Chevrolet for the body work seeing as I just purchased it from there. It was supposed to take 4 days, however it took two weeks.

When I picked up my SUV, I looked it over and noticed rather large chips in the hood where they "repaired" the hail damage. They tried to cover it up with filling the chips in with paint and did a horrible job with it.

Before driving it off the lot I went to the body shop manager, Pete Gryskiewicz, and pointed out the damage to him. He said that Geico only approved paintless dent repair. I told him whoever worked on my SUV damaged it during the process. He said he would call my insurance company to get it worked out.

He never did, so I called Geico, and they came out and took pictures of the hood and where the chips were from the body shop damage.

For two months I have been fighting with Geico and Friendly Chev about them making this right but they refuse to do anything. Geico informed me that when I took it in for an estimate the agent on the scene noted rock chips on the front bumper and windshield.

Needless to say, Geico is saying they won't pay for the "do over" because of this. They took pictures of the hail damage and then again when it came out of the body shop. My agent said they have no "proof" regardless of me saying that the chips on the hood were not there when it was brought in for repair because had it BEEN chipped like and filled in with paint, I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place.

I strongly advise not purchasing a vehicle or having any body work done to your vehicle at Friendly Chev. As far as Geico, f*ck 'em, because they'll f*ck you right in the *ss if you have to make a claim.
