Buyer beware, I bought this scooter online for $459.99 from Urbanscooters.com about 2 weeks ago. It arrived shredded from DHL and it did not require a signature, so I could not refuse the package. Got the scooter out of the box, took 3 hours to put together due to lack of instructions that were supposed to be in box. Charged overnight as instructed so on the website. Rode scooter in less than 10 hours of receiving it and did not hold charge, wheels were bent, electric engine kicked while riding, could not get handle bars to align to front wheel, so did not turn correctly or safely, side ferrings came broken in box, and chain would not stay on bike. Called several people at 1-800 number for several hours. They want to send me all of these parts to repair the bike at no charge, but will charge me $70.00 restocking fee to return, plus I have to come out of pocket for shipment to IA from GA. This results in an extra $103.00 for shipping when I did not pay for shipping from the original order, and they told me they paid $45. SO why do I have to pay $170 to send back a scooter that does not work within 10 hours of opening the box??? Do lemon laws apply??
