About two months ago, I purchased a scooter with my credit card. (I have all my statements). About a week later, this bashed up old box shows up.
First thing I noticed was the box, next, wrong color, next was the fact that I paid 500$ for a scooter of extremly poor quality, also the shock did not fit properly on the scooter since the whole frame was bent.
I immediately contacted bn scooters with my problem. He at first gave me the runaround, but after some persistance, he gave me the number to what he said was the manufacturer.
I called them and they were like, you didn't buy the scooter from us, it's not our problem. Now understand, this scooter never had fuel in it. So I e-mailed both compaies real bad, all disgruntled.
So, two days go by, the supposed manufacturer calls me and says they wanna take care of my totally defected piece of crap. Every screw on this thing was stripped, the frame bent, all scratched up, a total rip off besides!
He at first says he can fax me a shipping label, but after I told him my fax #, he decided he could meet me in big bear, CA with a new scooter. Well the day came, I drove a long way, and he forgot my scooter!
So he promised me he would ship me a new, better scooter. The scooter I paid 500$ for was a total ripoff! The one that he ended up sending was a lot better, but the shock was missing.
Okay, like a month has gone by since my account was charged with the purchase. I went to the local moto shop and bought my 25:1 two stroke mix and a gallon of gas. I rode my scooter around my block twice before my axle bent and my chain fell off.
I again contacted the manufacturer, since he is the one who sent me the scooter as a replacment for the first one. He tells me I will ship you a new axle and a new shock, airborne ground.
A week goes by, I called them up and they said I tried to help you, but I can't spend time on, someone elses sale. Now being frustrated at both the compaies, I contacted a completely different company called the scooterx shop.com. And bought a rear wheel assembly for fourty bucks. I told them about the problem with the other two companys, and he was cool enough to send me a new shock free of charge. The day came I put the shock on, I rode 5 miles on it, my engine seized up. They won't help me at all. I had to buy a new engine for a 150.00 bucks. Total rip off.
