I felt the need to write this letter do to the service I had received at the Firestone located in Marietta.in April I took my car in to have the air checked seeing as it was not working correctly. After an hour and a half I was told that there might be a leak due to the freon not holding in the lines. I stood in the garage with the workers and was told the details. They said for me to come back if the air went out once again. Not 20 minutes after I left the air went out. I did not have time to go back and sit for another hour and a half seeing as I have a full time job that I can not miss. I was charged a total of $165.00 for the service that did absolutley nothing! I took my vehicle to a different shop and the air was fixed that day. I was charged half the amount I paid at Firestone and had air that worked! I was told at the second shop that there are no leaks and there was no freon even put into the car. They said the problem was that the lines were empty. I know that I am female walking in to a Firestone and they normally try to get you seeing as you have no idea what is going on with your vehicle but I don't appreciate it. I will never return to another shop again when I have car issues. I do not believe that it was right for them to charge me $165.00 to fix nothing. I would like to hear what your opion is with this matter.
