Sold me a car they knew nothing about!

I purchased a car from them several years ago. I am just now writing this because I did not know this site existed.

I purchased an '89 Nissan Pathfinder that the salesman said they had just gotten in that day. The salesman said the car was in good working order and I was desperate, I was just going thru a divorce and I needed a car. I assumed (which was my first mistake) that since the car was on the lot and for sale that they had already had their mechanic look it over and that all was good. Well the car ran great for a few weeks then the heater went out and the radiator began leaking. I dealt with these issues because I knew the car was old and would have some mechanical issues. Well a few months later the clutch went out on it and I called them and they told me to have it towed to their lot so that they could look at it because it was still under warranty. Well they get it there and tell me that their mechanic can not work on transmissions and that they could not do anything for me what-so-ever and told me to take it to a shop in Catoosa, Ok, because they work on transmissions and accepted my warranty plan. So I had it towed to that shop where they told me they would take a look at it and let me know what they found, well I never heard from them so I called after a few days and they told me that their transmission guy was out due to being shot during a robbery at the shop, I said ok even though they could not give me a time frame for the repairs (no other shop accepted my warranty). I called them a few weeks later to be told that my warranty had just run out and that they would not touch it without payment.

I ended up having to go out there with my extra key and a trailer in tow and take my car because they refused to even look at it or pay to have it towed to my house since they were the reason it was no longer in warranty.

I finally sold the un-drivable hunk of metal for $400 dollars after purchasing it for over $2000 and not even having it run for 8 months after buying it. The person who purchased it from me completely ripped out the interior to deep clean it only to find that under the entire backseat and cargo area was completely rusted out and that there was a leak in the gas line somewhere. The guy told me that I was basically driving my daughter and pregnant girlfriend around in a death trap and that the car never should have been sold to me as a drivable vehicle. I do not believe they are still in business here in Tulsa or at least under the same name but I wanted people to be aware if they are still out there somewhere.
