I made an appointment with George Nunnally Chevrolet Service Dept. To have them go from bumper to bumper in July and then give me an estimate of what it would cost to repair and what all the problems were. I told them of a few of the things I knew needed to be fixed. Well they took the truck in and they did not do a bumper to bumper they only attempted to repair what I had told them needed and also said that my transmission needed serviced.
Then they gave me the estimate on that and then I told them I was going to get tires where I always do Hermans in Cave Springs and the service man Mike Shepherd talked me into buying tires from them saying how much better of a tire but never a moment did he mention for the price they were charging that there was no road hazard or warranty on the tires.
Well they called me to come and get my truck it was right at $2600 dollars and that was for brakes all the way around, ERG Valve, 4 tires mounted and balanced, front end alignment, servicing transmission, replacing idler arms, replacing brake seals, serp drive belt, u joint and rear pinion seal. Well I no more then got back to the job with the truck the back tire went flat they had used my old valve stems on new tires they had to come and fix that well then the truck was still vibrating, dropping in the rear end all the problems were still there and more so we took it back they kept it and called and tried to convince me that the things wrong was the way that year was made to work and run which it is not.
So I left well the truck was still not doing right then I begin to smell transmission fluid and they had blew the seal in the transmission by the way they pumped it out the desk service Matt Shepherd admitted they did. So they had it back in the shop again. Well then got it back again and then we started dealing with the Service Manager Rod Short and he said things would be fixed right and they would be no more of this well the truck when i got it back was still doing the same things and then my transmission started slipping after they had blew the seals and let me drive it off the lot thinking it was okay with the transmission leaking.
Well i then was told by Mr Short to bring truck in everything would be fixed right back brakes havent even been working and then also the brake light sticks on all the time now going down the road. So I was then working with the Main Mechanic Chantem well he took it in the shop we were promised by Mr short the truck would be in the next day we then found out they had it parked out back for days never had it in the shop nothing then i called them on it and they put me with the main mechanic then and he promised that he would go in on his day off Saturday and check it out and he would then get it in first thing monday well monday came and went and finally the end of the week they called and said it was all fixed to pick it up now this has been going on from July until January and they still dont have it fixed right and we have talked to other Techs certified for Chevrolet and also brake shops and transmissions shops who are very reputable and they all said the same thing that the transmission slipping is due to them pumping one that year you dont do that and then blowing the seals and allowing me to drive it saying it was fixed and then i have rear brake seals leaking was caused by them also. I paid to have all this done and I called and took truck back and took it back and they just keep making it worse and not fixing nothing just keep saying its fixed and its not. I have went to the owner and it done no good.
So now I am sitting here with the truck at my house the transmision is gone in it, the seals are leaking and the brakes dont work correctly. And all this damage is due to the things they done.
