I called the mechanic over the phone about my 1980 BMW 733I car having problem. I explained to him that my head cylinder seem to have a problem whic was told to me by another mechanic, he told me just bring the car so he could make a diagnostic to Identify the problem then he will let me know the outcome.
He sent for the car which was parked in front of my house to his place of work. Later instead of him calling me, I called him regarding the car, he told me that the head cylinder is cracked and need to be repaired by sending to machine shop to rebuilt it. I said how do you know? He answer he already took it of the car and sent to shop and that was the result from the shop, which was a big lied.
I asked him for a price, he told me $650.00 I said can you do it for $600.00 he said yes, the next day I went to the his place of work I found out that he just put a used head cylinder that he had, and messe-up everything in the engine, with all the valves tapping very loud, "noisy" when I told him that I dont want that, he said that my part was damaged beyond repair. I said why you didnt let me know before you put the used part which is not even good, he stated shouting and cursing.
Unfortunatly I took the car the way it was afer a month I brought the car back to him so he can reduce the noise that it was making. He just change the oil and leave it the same way. After a few days the car won't start, I called him to let him know. He told me do not to bring the car to him anymore. And the car was still under his warrantee. This guy violated my trust and stole my money. He should paid for it. He should be known to all as a bad guy. A Rip-off.
