I spoke with the mechanic that worked on my vehicle. He said that the nicks on the outside of the rim are directly across from the bend in the rim. He said that this vehicle has been in an accident. He showed me all of the marking in the engine compartment where parts have been replaced. Did your shop people mention this, did your shop people mention the antenna, did they mention the paint, did they mention the running boards, or the rims. Now you tell me that there is know way that they could have missed the rim. He pulled the wheel of the vehicle and balanced it for me. Just because the inner edge is bent on the edge by the seal doesn't mean it won't balance it just means, somebody choose not to report or replace the rim. It bothers me that you question another dealerships certification, because this tells me, if a questionable dealer can find these problem, what should a certified dealer find before they sell. Your shop manager should have found the inconsistency in the paint and told you about it, a red flag should have gone up at that point. If your shop guy did the detail he or she should have noticed the antenna. You said, if I would not have had them fix thing on the vehicle. You would have had somebody come done and pick up the vehicle, you are still welcome to do that, I insist. Because the big problem can't be fixed without costing me a large sum of money. I also think as good faith you should buy me another rim I really don't care if it is used. The price they gave me is $610.00. I am not paying this for a 1 month old vehicle.
