Ok... Lets see here, i just returned from Iraq and was honorably discharged. I have a wife, baby, no car, and horrible credit. So i found this promising place VIA internet #1car sales. I needed a car since i had no job, and when i did find a job it was in STL, i live in mascoutah, IL. So i go to there website and pick out a Four door, power window, power lock ford focus. Well i get contacted by A guy named Mike. He seems nice, wich in his defense, he is.
So i go down there and we talk and i get in the ford. The ford is now a 2 door no power window or lock car. But i was like, ok, i need a car, and they approve everyone with as little down as 600 (but they ended up making me put down 1.8 grand). So i drive it, my wife drives it, were like fine its cool. See we dont really know much about cars so maybe it wasnt cool. I go back and put down 600, and there like we need more. Then i put down 1 grand, and then there like 800 more.
SO i just threw down 1 more grand making it 2 grand in on. He goes and talkes to the boss lady who is dressed in this tight leather outfit and has her newborn baby laying on a leather couch by itself. He comes back and is like, your payments are 320 buck a month. I was like hmm thats high buy okay (later i found out with 2 grand down i could have got a new car from the dealer my friend went too for 180 a month). So i get the car and their like, your title will come in a week or so. Well I take the stupid thing home and it was good for 3 days. Then the transmission exploded on me. I was like, this sucks.
So i call them cuz i had a 2 year warranty. Their like, well call a tow truck. So i did and paid 90 bucks, wich in my contract will be reimbused (1 month later and its still not reimbursed). So It gets there and they give me a loaner van that get about 7mpg (maybe more:) And it cost me 98 bucks to fill up every 3 days, i got a focus for the gas. Well there like, it will take a week.
A week goes by and i call them, and they have not even looked at it. Another week and they said our warranty company wont do it, call ford. I called ford and there like. I dunno. So i called car sales and there like, give us fords number... (why cant they do this themselves?) So i did just that.
One month later, and 4 loaners (they all kept breaking or being sold to other victims) i get my car. And now the transmission sounds like its going to explode again and there are all kinds of funny noises, i dont want to take it back to them becasue i need a car... Im so stressed. And since i did not have my car for a whole month i feel like i should not have to make a 320 dollar payment, but i did because they wanted to repo my car. I want a full refund, plus my towtruck money, so i can go to a legit dealer and get a real car.
