We purchased our 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid in Feb. All was well until Sept when we realized the hybrid battery was not charging. We took it to the dealer and two months later we had a new battery. The battery had leaked so much more than the battery had to be replaced.in Feb of once again the hybrid battery was not charging. The dealer had the battery in stock because there was a recall on all the hybrid batteries (not just mine).in March I brought it back because the battery was once again having problems, the front passenger door was rattling and not closing all the way, the ignition was not allowing the key to turn on (had to strong arm it to turn on the car) and their was a rattle in the rear undercarriage of the car that was really loud when the car was stopped and the car totally shuts down. I took the vehicle in three times to get all this fixed. Lots of these parts had to be replaced and the loud noise was the cad converter in the muffler. At this point I am very concerned about owning this car after the warrantee is up. I talked to the dealer about trading the car in for a non-hybrid Vue. They offered me $15,000 for a car I paid $26,000 for last year. I told them I didn't want a vehicle that would be worth less than the loan in a year. I asked them to buy the vehicle back from me and they offered me $17,000. I looked up the blue book prices for trade and sale. The $15,000 for trade is what was listed... Scary! The sale is $20,000. I have called the National Saturn consumer service number and they will help negotiate the service issues but said they would not intervene to help with a by back. Seems strange GM will. Isn't Saturn a GM vehicle??? I am working with a lemon law attorney right now. He is trying to decide if it is a viable car for the lemon law. I just want them to stand by their vehicle and not expect me to pay for their defective car.
