Savannah Toyota
Misleading and all about numbers

I just recently just returned from Iraq from a 15 month tour and decided to trade my truck in due to fuel prices. I went to Savannah toyota and told them what I was looking for and looked at a couple of vehicles. I had some negative equity in my vehicle so we found a car that the salesman James said would work, it was a 2007 Scion TC it has roughly 29,000 miles on it. So James did the whole sales thing get the nuber right will you buy today. So once we sat down he brought the figures over it was like 19995.00, I asked how couul I pay 19995.00 for a 2007 and I could buy a new one at that price. After a couple times back and forth I told him look I told you what I could do. James than said I'll mbe right back. When he came back he said follow me, we than went to a finace manager.

The finance manger was doing up the paperwork and he had my wife and I at some ridiculous payment so than he he got up and left and came back and some how had us at the payment. Within 30 minutes that process was done.
Than the car hadnt been washed and it needed new tires, so they gave us a rental cause we had to go back to Hinesville to get our daughter, so we went back to get her and than came back and the car still wasnt done this was like 4pm and we had left at like 1pm, so than we went to to eat and came back and the car was done at 7pm. Tires were good but did a lousy job cleaning the car.

So finally had the car and a few days after having the car got the windows tinted James called me asked how everything was. All was good. Than on 22 April James called me told me I had to come up and sighn some more paperwork for them to be able to get my tag. So I did some checking and the Bank on my paperwork I sighned didnt have no record of me. So on the 23d I went back and asked what was going on and they told me the bank didnt like the figures they sent, now a week went buy keep in mind.

I first spoke to James and he told me he had nothing to do with finance so than they had me sit down with the finance guy and he went back in forth, after an hour I told him to give me my truck back and he said give me a minute well that minute turned into 45 minutes and came back and said for 1600 more dollars we can get the deal done. So i said no give me my truck back.

So than I went out and sat down james came out and asked me what was going on I told him I was not happy, so than the used car manager came over and said why dont you go to citi loan borrow the 1600 and keep the car, i said why would i go and occur more dept. I said no and assked if i caoul get reembursed the 165.00 for the window tint which i had the receipt for the used car manager said no cause they have to remove it I said why? He said they dont put tint on cars. Funny alot of used cars on his lot with tint.

I just can't believe they put me in a vehicle had me sign paperwork shook my hand the whole nine yards than call me back in a week and tell me the bank didnt like the numbers they sent and have the nerve to tell me were not gonna charge you for the miles you put on it for the past week.

I don't expect people to thank me or expect anything for being in the military but don't stand there and tell me you appreciate the job we do and make a comment we take care of our military at Savannah Toyota.
