New, not used, you're approved for a new car of your choice, infomercial, liars, ripoff

I saw the infomercial regarding buying a new nissan of your choice. Nothing was said about used cars. Ok, I'll bite. I called the toll free number and it was a recording asking you for your personal information. I applied and the recording said that someone will get back to you within 24 hours. They did.

I received a voice mail message from Honey asking me to contact her to schedule an appointment to pick up my "new" car. I called and spoke with Vanessa and we scheduled an appointment. I was told to bring certain documents and my drivers license. I asked what type of car, Vanessa said, we'll discuss that when you get there. You will be meeting with the bank and it is American Credit. I made the appointment for the following Saturday. Friday afternoon, I was diagnosed with strep throat and I called to cancel.

I called today and spoke with Raye. I asked her what car did I qualify for. Raye said 2007 Nissan, Dodge, whatever. Excuse me? The infomercial said, "NEW" NISSAN, not a used car. She said, you qualied for whatever payment plan you want.

I'm contacting the attorney general on this one. If I'm going to buy a car, it must be a new one.
