I wish I never went to this rip off joint. I bought a car from them and made my first payment on time. They came and got my car the same night that I made the payment. I got up to go to work the next day and saw tire tracks all down my drive way where they obviously backed out with the vehicle at top speed. I called and they were not open and I had to wait until 10am when they finally opened. Of course by then I had already missed my class. They admitted that they made a mistake but the problem is that they had my project for school in my trunk. This project was for my finals. It took me 5 weeks of research and long hours of working on it. When someone finally got to the office, they told me that they would have the car brought back to me in a couple of hours.
By then of course, I was missing work. I told them to bring the car to my job and I would just take a cab there. They refused to do that even though I told them that I needed to get to work and could not wait for them to decide to bring the car back. I finally got the car back at 6:30 pm. They brought the car to my job, only thing is I told them that I only work until 5!! I am a full time student and I work part time. Because I work part time and am the only part time employee I am not able to miss any days unless it is an emergency. I do no not want to lose the privlidge to work PT due to absences beyond my control. All of this was explained to them. I was told that a letter of apology would be faxed to my professor at ASU. She agreed to call my professor to explain the problem. She lied! My professor did not receive a phone call and when I asked for the letter in writing, she refused and went on to say that she never agreed to send the letter! I only had the car for a month and I told them to come and get it. I would just file BK and they could kiss my ass. After another week, they decided to come and get the car.
I got a letter in the mail saying that I owe them the full price for the 2001 Explorer $14,000! Yeah right. Looks like they are gonna have to take a loss on this one. The sales manager there was so sweet when I got the car, calling me Mija - or however you spell it in Spanish. And giving my twin girls a blanket to share because it was cold in the office. Mistakes happen, but they did nothing to make it better. I had to take a full grade deduction on my project and my boss was not happy that a vehicle was left on the property after business hours on the outside of the gate.
