My wife and I had found a car on Craigslist that we thought would work out for us. When we bought the car the salesman and broker agreed that if the car would not pass inspection that they would buy the car back. We got the car inspected by our mechaninc and he said that it was not a good buy.
So we called the broker and he insisted we take it to emmisions. The first time I took it they refused to test it on the grounds that I could not get the car to go into reverse gear thus tipping them and me off that it had transmission trouble. We called again and they insisted that we again take it to the emmisions testing area. The car did not have a muffler nor exhaust pipe leading to said missing muffler as well as the transmission trouble so again it could not be tested. Michael refused to give us our money back and take the car saying and I quote. "Screw them, let them sue me." We unfortunately did not have the money to enact said suit so have been stuck with this car in our garage for more than a year.
We are now selling it for scrap for two reasons. #1 We need the money to move. #2 We do not wish AAB and Michael Murray to get this car back so that they can harm someone else with it. While I would love to get the $1550.00 that this guy ripped me off for back I sincerely doubt it will happen. What I truly want is for this man and his bogus company and associates to be brought to justice so that they can never harm anyone again.
