Hello All I am here to report and confirm that Geoffrey Hull is a crook and Red Carpet Motoring is a fraudulant company.
1) They are not a licensed dealer, in fact they are wanted and being investigated by the DMV
2) They not only get an F on their business practices from the Better Business Bureau but they are not members as Geoffrey Hull will tell you
3) Geoffrey Hull is a car theif but smart. He knows if he gets you to enter into an agreement with him the car cannot be reported stolen. It becomes a civil matter and he cant be arrested you can only take him to court.
4) The contract is false no good. It gives you all the protection in the world but in the end Red Carpet Delivers on 0%
5) Red Carpet (Geoffrey Hull Owner) Also gives you DMV paperwork as if the vehicle will be transferred thus freeing you of any liability. False, not only is RCM not a licensed dealer but they have no intention of transferring anything
6) Unlike some of these other postings, I live in Los Angeles and was able to drive to Red Carpet's supposed office and they are not there. Now what Geoffrey Hull will tell you is that is a virtual office where they come in when they need. Hwever, why is it the whole building says they moved out of there months ago.
Heres the bottom line folks it is now April 3rd 2008. I gave Red Carpet (geoffrey hull) possesion of my car in mid to early Feb. No payment has been made and no transfer completed. My BMW 2006 750 LI is now sitting in a body shop in Las Vegas totalled with 48,000$ damage. My insurance wont cover because they dont cover you if you enter into a aggreement of lease or to sell. Geoffrey Hull with all his guarentees is not responding now at all. My contract clearly says Red Carpet will be responsible for any damage should the user damage the car befor transfer. So Now Im responsible and forced to take them to court.
Please dont do any business with them i dont care what geoffrey tells you he is lying. He had an excuse for every posting on this site for me and guarenteed me he would take care of the damage but he wont.
Here is the scam and how geoff makes his money.
He Contacts the owner (me) usually from swapalease and tells you he found a qualified user and has their headache free system The user isnt really qualified mostly these are drug dealers, pimps, musicians, people with horrible credit that have cash to drive high end cars Geoff swindles both. As soon as he gets your car hes gone. He takes your car to the user and charges the user $15,000, $10,000 whatever as an upfront downpayment on car should they want to purchase at the end of the lease. As soon as he gets that money hes gone. I ask for anyones help in apprehending this piece of trash.
