A Mentally ill man takes his car into Ron Tonkin for the detail special and comes out with out his car valued at about 25k but driving a brand new car valued at 34k.
Loan amount 40K. Man get 14k for his trade in, and has a payment of 500 monthly, for 8 years... On a $944.00 SS Income.
Customer admitted to mental hospital 4 days later. Tonkin dragging feet on unwinding deal, very uncooperative.
New vehicle has assembly problems, fly wheel needs replacing. 950 miles on car. We were told there were signs of high reving causing damage. Another certified mechanic, says fly wheel damage as they said is an assmebly problem and all new cars have an electronic reving limiter in the computer.
Now they have both vehicles.
