I completed a on-line application on 2-07. I called the dealership and spoke with Kevin Grimsey (Commerdial Fleet Manager, Internet Sales). He found my application and said he would work on it, This was at approx. 11 A.M. I called again at 1:57 P.M. I was told that he had a finance manager woring on it. I said o.K. Can you please give me a call when he is done?

At 3:57 I called the dealership and asked to speak with the finance manager. I explained the long situation and asked if this is the usual wait at their dealership. His responce was, Sorry this is not my department there is a internet finance manager you need to speak with. He just transferred me to his ext. I left a message because he did not pick up.

At 4:32 I called and spoke with Kevin Grimsey and asked him about the long wait. I have never heard so many excusses. I asked if my credit information could be shredded, due to the high rate of identity theft. He said that it had to be kept on file.

I let him know that I was in his line of work for many years, and that some people are not as organized as others and you have personal information in place it should not be. I told him not to worry about my application, I am going to guy a car in Tuscon. I have purchased several cars over the years, and it is usually the case where you get more calls than you ever wanted. The sales people want to make sure you buy and have all of your questions answered.

That was not the case at SANDS CHEVROLET.
