I took my car into Xpress Lube on Satellite Blvd in Duluth GA 30096 to just get an oil change, The Tech Chad stated to me that I needed an Fuel System Cleaning, and a transmissions flush to prolong the life of my car since I drive 120 miles round trip to work, I should have went with my first mind and stuck to my words which was no at first, He stated that it would only take about 20 minutes, I agreed and they proceeded to do whatever it was that they did, I smelled something burning right after that and the guy Chad told me that it was just the build up from what they had cleaned out of the fuel system and told me to drive it about an half a mile and everything would be fine,
I live around the corner and I don't drive this car after I park it until the next morning for work, This was the afternoon of the 26th of DEC and the next time I drove it was on the night of the 28th. It was raining I smelled something burning after I filled the car up. I drove it about three blocks and I;m at the light and I see some smoke coimg from under the hood. I pull over to check it out and the smell is even stronger this was Saturday night.
Monday I drove the car to work and called Chad that morning and told him what i smelled and he stated to me bring the car back in and they would check it out, Now it was a clear burning smell and he stated to me that he didn't smell anything which was a bunch of bullSh$ anyone with a since of smell could smell this, He told me to dive it the rest of the week until Friday and if that smell was still around he'd look at it again,
This is Monday around 2:30-3:00 New Years Eve I didn't drive the car anymore until I came out to go to work Thursday morning and my car wouldn't hold a start, meaning you had to continue to give it gas. I went to work that morning driving another one of my cars. As soon as I get to work I called Chad and told him that my car wouldn't start like it had been for the last 2 1/2 years with no problems what so ever. I got off work and took the car back to them and he stated that nothing that they did caused this problem, but it's Ironic that the very same thing that you all cleaned or was supposed to have cleand is the problem.
I tooke it to the Nissan Dealership and the have provided me with a written request that clearly states that this was a direct cause for my Throtle body assembly to burn up and my electical unit to burn out from whatever chemicals were used this has cost me $2025.84 to get fixed and Xpress Lube was saying that it wasn't their fault. I spoke with the Area Supervisor Steve Temple and he stated that he handed this over to his Corp Office I think that they are trying to blow me off, but they just don't know what type of fight that they have entered into. My car was fine before I went there I always keep the maintenance up on all my cars namely this one because I drive it to work everyday.
The Master Technician at Nissan clearly stated that someone did something to cause this damage. If anyone reads this and has a good Lawyer please contact me at 678-xxx-xxxx, (REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES) Thanks I will never ever send nor recommend that place, come to think of it I don't think that anyone there is Ceritfied I will have to see
