I purchased a 2005 Civic hybrid from Honda of Concord in 2006. I also purchased the lowest level of service agreement. I asked many questions of Business Manager Scott Bradshaw, and was told that maintenance checks would be covered. I told people Honda had world-class customer service and two in my circle of contacts later became first-time Honda owners.
I was very disappointed when I went back for 30,000 mile check and was told this was not covered. I discussed this with service manager, David Shepherd who informed me my plan only included five (5) oil changes and two brake/safety inspections. For this I paid $1,100!! This is fraud, and American Honda condones it, saying they do not own or supervise the dealerships and it is their right to sell service ageements.
If you do business with Honda of Concord or Hendrick AutoGuard, please take an attorney along to look out for your best interests (or a tube of KY Jelly) because Honda is NOT going to honestly reprersent service agreements.
