I will never get tired of telling the whole world what this old man did to me. The owner of this ammco at 2157 n. Cicero ave, chicago, il., took my money and did not fix my transmission. My car sit in his garage for almost six months. This nightmare started back on may 29th of 2006 when i took my car to this scammer. This old guy charged me $2000 in advanced, and the remaining $891 on the day when i pickep up car. I picked up my car in september and paid up the remaining, on the same day i noticed that the car had the same problem and it was not fixed. I took my car back to the shop, where this guy kept it 'til november. I had to call the cops to get my car back and took it to a different shop (not aamco) where they fixed my problem in a week (they replaced the transmission). Now this old scammer does not want to refund my money, his name is sanford mintz, aka "sammy", "sandy". He is about eighty and 5'8" inches. Buyer beware! Do not go this shop this old scammer is a big time crook. The only satisfaction that i have is that he is so old that he might die any day. Again his name is sanford mintz aka "sammy" or "sandy", i took this crook to small claims court where i got judgement in my favor but he has not paid up yet.
