Buyer beware!!! Here is one of the letters that I sent to AMMCO Transmission Customer Service... I was literally ripped off by an eighty year old man (Mr. Mintz)... Here is the letter... I will post this info in as many websites as I can find... LET THE TRUTH BE HEARD!

To Whom It May Concern:
This is regarding my case at one of your Mechanic Shops, in a nutshell; I was ripped off by Mr. Sanford Mintz, owner of an Ammco Transmission shop in Chicago, he took my money without fixing my car which stayed in his garage for almost six months (05/31/06-11/23/06). I have proof of all this in black and white. I had to file a small claims court in order for me to get my money back which took place on February 26 (a copy has been provided). Of course Mr. Mintz tried to avoid going to this citation by having a AAMCO Rep from the Customer Relation Department called me on 02/22/07 and had me faxed a letter stating that if He (Mr. Mintz) returned my money ($ 2,981.00) I would not take any further legal action against him (a copy of this letter has been provided). I remember talking to two of your Reps their names are Nichole and Wanda. I never heard from Mr. Mintz again, so I had to carry on with the suit. Mr Mintz, as clever as he is, had his secretary called me on the day of the court to tell me that hed be talking to me to settle this problem once and for all but that he was sick that day, he assumed I was going to believe that. Mr. Sanford Mintz took my money without fixing the car, my transmission was worst than before, he deceived me in paying him $2000.00 in advance on 07/12/06 to get the transmission from California (that is what he claimed) and then he charged me the rest $891.00 on Sept 09/09/06 when I picked up my car. The car was back at his shop on 09/11/06 after realizing the car hasnt been fixed. I picked up my car on Nov 23rd after realizing that Mr. Mintzs incompetence will never fixed my car. I had to call the police to get my car back.
I have not yet received my payment from the judgment. I will persue this matter with the full extent of the law, no matter how much it will cost me, I will fight this tooth and nails. I will make all this information available to the public by any means necessary. Mr Mintzs deceitful way to conduct business will be exposed to the masses. I have proof of what I claim here in black and white. I will not lie; I will simply state the truth. It is justice what I am after and justice will be served one way or another.
