It is my intent that everyone who does a search on this place gets this message and found out about my bitter experience at this particular AAMCO shop. The owner of this place, SANFORD MINTZ, an eighty year old guy about 5'8", also known as "SAMMY", SANDY", ripped me off $2,891.00 on a transmission, he never fixed, this incompetent old crook had my car in his garage for almost six months. He made me paid him in advanced $2000 and the remaining on the day that I picked up my car, and when I did, I realized the car was not fixed.
I took this case to small claims court, which resulted in judgement on my favor, but this old crook has paid up yet. All this nightmare goes back since May it's been a year and six months so far. Heed my words, take your car somewhere else. I have proof of everything said here. Write to me if you have any questions at gersontech (at) yahoo (d0t) c0m. But whatever you do... Don't go to this particular AAMCO SHOP.

cometi el error de llevar mi carro a esta mecanica, donde SANFORD MINTZ, dueno de este lugar me cobro $2,891.00 por una transmission que nunca arreglo, este senor es un viejito como de 80 anos, va tambien con sobrenombre the "SAMMY" o "SANDY". Este ladron me dijo que le pagara por adelantado $ y el resto $891.00 en el dia que recojiera el carro. Cuando lo hice y pague el resto, al manejar mi carro me di cuenta que no habia arreglado mi transmission. Es viejito se nego a devolverme el dinero. Lo lleve a corte y gane pero hasta ahora no he recibido mi dinero. Todo esto empezo cuando lleve mi carro a AAMCO que esta en la 2157 N. Cicero Ave en Chicago, IL en Mayo del ya ha pasado 1 ano y seis meses. Tengan mucho cuidado con este anciano, te puede hacer lo mismo. Estarias mejor en cualquier otro lugar.
