I purchased a used vehicle From Next 2 New Auto on Nov. 27. Our sales rep was Gerry Holley. Since I lived in Iowa, I called and agree to make a price on a 2001 Dodge Stratus at $8000. Upon agreement, Both my parents and I drove down there. When we arrived, my dad and I went to talk to our sales rep (Gerry). Car was pretty decent with minor defects. When paper work came up, Gerry sold the car we went to buy for $8595 which is 600 dollars more than what we agreed upon before driving there.
Thats not all, He impressed my dad and i by saying that the car comes INCLUDED with a warranty. Also said the bank REQUIRED a warranty on it. If you really understand banks, YOU know they don't require it, just a way to get extra commission (cars.com is very helpful!). Sound all great until you look at the paper work. Ended up paying over $2000 more than what my dad and i intended.
I also asked to have a jack, spare tire, and wrench for the vehicle at no charge to me (the buyer). Also impressed me by saying he would personally drive down here to deliver it to me. NEVER heard from them since and not expecting them anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and go to respective dealers you KNOW you can trust.
