My check engine light went on and my speedometer was acting up, this was sept. 6.6 months later had another problem. This time everyone
was rude and didnt tell me the hours of operation other wise i would of had my car towed somewhere else.
I have document everything even phone calls... As, it became a nightmare and called the Better Business Beau.
The agreed I have a case. Better Business Beau gave
me a phone number for Consumer affairs and said at the
time Georges and son was not certified and used the
wrong pricing form.
My car was "Undriveable" I told them to get my car
back to my condo as, they didnt fix my car and paid
over the phone on my discover card $582.70.
I took my car to crown honda as, my car was a 96 honda accord that, i regularly maintained and after Georges and sons didnt fix the problem. They called my cellphone and kept hanging up the phone.
They lied in 5 or 6 occasions as, i read the response from Consumers affairs. I had a second opinion from crown honda and said the transmission was burnt.
Consumer affairs was no help. They said I can take them
to court. So, I asked how are you protecting the public?
I had a running car I bought brand new in 1996 kept the oil changed etc. They lied about repairs the first time and thought they where okay. But, the second time they
worked on my car I told them to tow the car back to
my place.
The tow truck driver you could see was scared to death as, he knew the car was not repair and to get a used transmission would have been $1500.00 with 1 year warranty and a new
transmission $3,000.00.
So, i had Crown honda on 34th st in st. Petersburg, fla. Looked at the car and it says and I quote... I drove the car for approximately a mile and the car would stop. Before, when Georges and son dropped the car off..."I could not get the car in the garage"... I had to turn the car off... The on to get the car in the garage.
I missed 2 days of work as, they did not get the part... And so on. The girl Dana... Lied said that, everyone was gone... When they towed my car in at 8am and had called 1:15pm.
I ended up buying a 2002 toyota at crown honda as, i could not see spending $3,000.00 on a transmission. Aiaf it wasnt for Georges and son I wouldnt have to do car payments like Iam now. This all happened 2/27.
They lied about me quote needing a timing belt. Yet, their mechanic got my manual out of the glovebox and said I didnt need it til 90,000 miles. The car had 64,000 miles.
A friend of my Janet had problems with this same company
in 2003 and they said the samething a "Speedsensor"
In fact, they tried to say it again when they didnt even
know where my car was???
So, when this other towing truck saw how upset i was
and asked why this tow truck came threw Geico.,
and told the tow truck driver and he shook his head and
said they are only good for towing.
So, tell me why does a company like this get away with
1. Ruining my transmission
2. Charging me $582.70 and not fixing my car...
I had to trade the car in as, i live by myself and
need to get back and fourth to work.
The owner did not work with me but, lied and if you
where to see i spent in the past 6months with
Georges and son $1,000.00 other than what i reqested.
Please... Iam besides myself as, i know theyre dishonest
for sure now and would like to see "Justice prevail".
