We live by the beach and always keep quarters in our cars for parking meters. About 6 months ago, 2 rolls of quarters were stolen out of my wifes car while it was in for service. We reported the problem but it was only $40.00 so we just wrote it off. Recently our sons car was in for maintenance and his iPod was stolen from his glove box.
I called the service manager immediately after returning home and he said he would contact me by the end of the day after he spoke with the owner. I didn't here anything from him so the next day I wrote Toyota Corporate asking them if it could this be investigated. They opened a case but did not answer my question.
They said the Customer Relations Manager will contact me by the end of the business day Friday.in the event I did not receive contact from the dealership by this date, please contact them with a file number they provided. The Customer Relations Manager didn't contact me so I responded to Corporate again and and the said I would need to work it out with the dealership.
I also tried the BBB. I submitted my complaint and received a confirmation e-mail that they received my complaint. After not hearing anything for a month, I called to follow up and was told there was no complaint.
