I recently purchased a USED 1999 325 I BMW. I placed $5000.00 cash down to this dealer. "Sam" asked me for an additional $5000.00 more on the car. I told him that was a bit much, but I will get it as soon as I can. I told 'Sam", that would it possible to pay him in increments until I was able to give it to him in full. He accepted garciously. I have receipts to show I did in fact send him monies for my car.
A few weeks later, while I was at a jobsite, my car was re-possessed. I was charged a $700.00 tow fee the additional $5000.00 he asked for. He towed my car from a location that was only 10 minutes away from his dealership. This is a tow truck that he owns personally. As I tried to get my belongings, my items were stolen and my car contract was missing from glove-box. There are just too many inadequate disclosures that were presented to me.
Can you assist or direct me to someone? I've already contacted the BBB, Attorney General & Consumer Affairs.
