Roadloans.com, Triad Financial Kept Promising to Send Title, Failed to Do So on Numerous Occasions

I moved from Florida to Maryland and requested a copy of my title to be faxed to the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles. I was over 20 days past due on my account and made a payment over the phone, which ended up being over $15.00 more than what they originally quoted me. They were supposed to then fax a copy of my title to the MD DMV so that I could obtain a temporary registration until the original title was sent.

Roadloans/Triad failed to fax the title copy until I had called them several times, requesting that they do so and stressing the urgency of the situation.

Eventually they sent the fax copy and I got my temporary registration.

I hadn't heard from the DMV that they had received an original title, so I called them to check a few days before my temporary registration expired. They hadn't received it. So I called Roadloans. They never sent the original and insisted that I hadn't requested one.

After demanding to speak to a supervisor, I was assured that the title would be requested from wherever they keep them and sent via an overnight service to the MD DMV.

Needless to say, they never sent it.

I had to call them several times to get them to send the title. They assured me it would be at the DMV today. So I left work early so that I could get there before the DMV closed only to find out that ~ surprise ~ they hadn't received a title.

So I again called Roadloans and ~ surprise again ~ they failed to send it.

So I spoke with another supervisor (even though I had initially been told that there was only one supervisor in the title department) and she apologized profusely and assured me that the title would be sent out via an overnight service, for delivery to the MD DMV. She called me back with the tracking number.

I guess we'll see if it actually arrives as promised.

As a note, the first supervisor I spoke with, who was quite rude and terse with me was Veronica at extension 53383. The second one was Jessica at extension 53170. The extension are at (866) 816-1840.

If there is any class action suit for which I would qualify, I would definitely be interested. Their failure to do what they promised has cost me time and energy, time missed from work for no reason, and terrible amounts of stress.
