We bought a vehicle through Mike Barnard and Citizens bank was the financial institution.
After the first month the wife called the auto dealer and asked why we have not gotten our statement yet. They could not help us. So she wrote a letter to them to the address on our contract agreement. No answer. This was a California address.
Almost four months have passed when we got a card in the mail to call Jim. We call Jim about our late payments. WELL JIM how can we make a payment when we do not have a statement for one. Two we do not have an account number. Three we do not have an address to mail to. He was good about it and tried to help us out. So he noted this and was going to have a statement mailed out. I'm not paying anything 'til I get a statement to start with.
A couple of weeks go by and nothing in the mail from Citizens bank. Call Jim back and reported this to him
Now we play phone tag in three different states. Nobody can understand what is going on. It's unbelievable. So we agree to make a payment over the phone along with a 7.00 dollar fee. Still no statements in the mail. But we do get the phone calls. The head rep.in South Carolina.
Helped us out with our account number and mailing address which is in Rhode Island.
Still no statement from them, but, they did come get the vehicle. The resold it and of course got thier money, but, they say I still owe them 11,000 dollars. I think not. I owe them nothing. And the Salesman we dealt with was fired.
