I took my car into Aamco Trasmission on April 6 to have the transmission rebuilt and both my hub bearings replaced. They called me on 4/16/07 and told me the car was ready.
I went there paid 1,626.00 and started to drive home and noticed things were terribly wrong. The car was vibrating, steering wheel loose and it was making ALOT of noise from the front end. I took the car back they said they would look into it.
To make a extremly long story short I still don't have my car they have since sold th buisness and the new owners have no idea what the old owners did. My car is still not fixed and other problems are present and corporate and the new owners are agreeing to pay or fix the problems. Corporate acts as nothing but a mediator.
Corporate told me if the new owners didn't agree to fix or pay for the problems I would be responsible for the repairs. I also found out the mechanic was not certified. So if you see or hear Aamco Transmission run, do not be fooled by the name and the smiley faces like I was.
