May 17 purchased vehicle in good faith with promise to pic up vehicle the following week... No deposit was taken-just a hand-shake and a promise the vehicle was mine
Mr. McGregor, the owner, confirmed the deal via cell phone of salesman, Mr. Fornari
May 18 I received a phonecall informing me that they had another buyer for my car Mr. Fornari promised me that he would find another like car for me and added that he would take off an additional $500.00 if I would forfeit the first car I aggreed and he promised to deliver within the next 2 weeks
During the next 2 months, I phoned Mr. McGregor, Mr. Fornari, Mr. Smith and Mr. Sadde concerning my replacement car At first, there were empty promises, then lies, then no return calls
On July 11, TEAM Motors advertised the same vehicle for sale but failed to notify me that they had gotten one in I phoned the dealership at 5:00pm and spoke with Mr. Fornari, we discussed price and again he told me that he would hold the car for me.
Two hours later, 7:00pm, I arrived at the dealership only to be told that that car, too, had been sold
Another empty promise I became upset the local police were called after telling my story to the officer, he said he would not buy a car at TEAM Motors either
If you deal with TEAM Motors, get everything in writing and have a witness!!!
