I have an unreliable 1996 ford contour I bought from bangor car care, it has more problems than cars I have bought outright in cash for what I paid as a down payment for this peice. Bangor car care lied to me by telling me thier car loan would improve my credit when in fact my car loan is not reported to the credit bureaus altough I expect it would be if I fell past due. I have never received any type of billing statement from Persian Acceptance CORP (bangor car care's sub-prime lender) So when I bought the car I was told I would have an 18% interest rate and a 3 year term. I have never gotten any written materials from this lender to verify any of this. I was forced to allow them to auto debit my checking for weekly installments but have never been updated as to the progress of my repayment and have no idea what my current balance is. It was a hasty decision to buy a car from these people but they were so freindly and I had no other choice besides losing my job for attendance reasons related to a lack of transportation.
