I was reading over the reports on here from people who bought from Bangor Car Care and I hear you all.
I bought a car from them in November of 05 that had a new inspection sticker on it. The salesman said the car was just inspected by their mechanic a week prior. The day after my warranty ran out (30 days after I bought the car) my car started leaking oil. I am not going to even try to say where it was coming from as I am not a mechanic but it cost me $250 to replace.
I called Bangor Car Care and this infamous witch of a secretary gave me an attitude like you would not believe.in one of my many phone calls to talk to them about the problems going on with my car she raised her voice at me and was very disrespectful. I called her disrespectful and told her to either have someone call me back or I was withholding my next payment, because my loan did not go through with their bank and I was paying Bangor Car Care directly.
She then told me well if you can't afford to pay for your car you shouldn't have taken it and we will come repossess it in the morning. They never showed up and I paid on the second week. Anyway, that is getting off subject but it was just my verifying shes rude.
3 weeks after that my breaks were acting up. A few days later I was going down a hill on a corner going about 45 miles per hour, I tried to slow down, stepping on the breaks, nothing happened! At the end of this hill, it goes to another sharp corner and I couldn't seem to slow the car down. I tried to take the corner best I could and guess what happened? My car wrapped around a tree!
Landed me in the hospital for 2 weeks with 5 broken ribs, a broken bone in my back, fractured pelvic bone, staples in the back of my head and in my hand, almost broke both my legs and my neck. This was on the way back from dropping my 5 year old off with family. Imagine if he were in the car, where his car seat was, was crushed in. Don't believe me? I have pictures I can show you.
