Since I purchased this vehicle (July), Car Hop has held me responsible for the many repairs that have been made to this vehicle. They have covered 3 of the 8 items that have required repair already.
Here are the repairs required and who paid:
Radiator - Me
Tensioner Belt - Me
Coolant Hoses - Me
Brake Drums - Me
TCC Solenode - Car Hop
Engine Head - Car Hop
Water Pump - Car Hop
Fuel Filter - Me
The vehicle has been missing a dome light since it was purchased, did not include a spare tire, the radio has never worked properly, nor has the AC ever functioned. They claimed the vehicle had the Anti-Lock Breaks disengaged, but I can feel them pumping when I attempt to break at times. Their mechanic also informs me that the Tensioner needs to be replaced.
After a review of the components under the hood, many still have the original factory clamps on them. This is a sign that the recommended replacements of components have never been made.
To get the TCC Solenode repaired, I needed to haggle for months.in addition to this, they had the TCC Solenode unplugged to mask the fact there was an issue there.
The current problem with the vehicle is starter based. After the amount that I've had to sink into this vehicle for repairs, I could've purchased a 2006 vehicle and had less issues and a lower payment.
